North Hampshire
There is considerable economic activity in and around the towns of Basingstoke and Farnborough, located in the north of Hampshire.

South Hampshire
A significant amount of Hampshire’s economic activity is also concentrated in the south of the county, in and around the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth with the emphasis on marine industries, financial services, advanced engineering, defence and aerospace technologies. There are exciting development plans currently underway for both cities, as well as the identification of a number of strategic sites in nearby Fareham, Havant, Gosport and Eastleigh. Central Hampshire

In Andover, the airfield site has planning permission for an 863,000 sqft regional distribution centre, along with smaller business units. There is also a good offer of second hand commercial space, from light industrial to retail and office space in the town centres. The exciting eco-town proposals in East Hampshire offer further exciting future development opportunities close to major transport links.
